QSL Orders Needed To Fill Print Job
here has recently been a flurry of interest shown in PARC QSL cards. There has been enough , in fact, that we actually need to generate a couple more orders, so we can print all those we have in place and prepaid.
By a process of arbitrary selection (basically, those members who were marked as paid up on the information transmitted), orders were processed for KX7Z, KC7YOE, AC7GF and K7GWP. These are at the printer's right now, with delivery promised back to the club before the Feb. 20 meeting.
There were 2 additional orders that were placed and paid around the same time but not noted in the original transmittal. Since the process is such that cards are printed 4 up on a sheet and then cut apart, these 2 must wait until we get additional orders together to run with them. The graphics preparation work has been completed on the 2 cards for which we have orders, but we need a couple more to make it press-ready.
If you can make the Feb. 20 general meeting, there will be lots of sample cards around. The ordering process is simple: Fill out the appropriate boxes at the bottom of a membership form
(see page 7), and turn it in with a check for $60 to the club, and we'll move it
forward. Cards ordered by the beginning of March should be delivered at the March general meeting.
