President's Message

ood for thought!  Should we as a club and public service organization have an equipment bank for our members to draw from, and should we provide equipment to interested and potential Amateurs who lack the resources to obtain equipment or antennas?  I would like to see it happen, but would need your thoughts as to its viability.  E-mail or call me with your ideas.

By the time you read this, we will have another great Portland Marathon behind us and we will be looking forward to our October 17 meeting.  See you there!

Ed. Note:  If this seems shorter than usual, it's because it is.   John's computer was not back from being rebuilt at press time.  We have had such a pool of equipment and antennas in the past, and we would need to find an interested party to keep track of it for distribution.  Accountability for it has been a sometimes haphazard affairAnyone care to volunteer to be PARC Quartermaster, to keep track of it?
