ood for thought!  Should we as a club and public service organization have an equipment bank for our members to draw from, and should we provide equipment to interested and potential Amateurs who lack the resources to obtain equipment or antennas?  I would like to see it happen, but would need your thoughts as to its viability.  E-mail or call me with your ideas.

Note:  If this seems shorter than usual, it's because it is.   John's computer was not back from being rebuilt at press time.  We have had such a pool of equipment and antennas in the past, and we would need to find an interested party to keep track of it for distribution.  Accountability for it has been a sometimes haphazard affair.  Anyone care to volunteer to be PARC Quartermaster, to keep track of it?

Multnomah County ARES Meeting  Thursday,  October 23rd, at Fire Station 2, 4800 NE 122nd, at 7:00 p.m.  All hams are invited to attend! 

Copy deadline for the sPARC gap, Friday, October 24.  Copy must be either in hand with the Editor or must be committed by this date.
