Have You Earned an Operating Award, Recently?

iven that PARC is a general-interest club and not just a 2-meter repeater group, there are diverse interests among the members.  For those of us whose operation is on HF, some of us have been pursuing various operating awards from ARRL and other organizations.

Known achievements in the past year or 2 include Bruce McCain, N7XB, with Worked All States, PSK-31.  I have also been active on several modes, and have picked up the Worked All Continents award, endorsed for PSK-31.  In the latter case, I applied for the mixed-mode version, since there was no PSK endorsement available.  Because all 6 cards submitted were PSK, they went ahead and endorsed it accordingly.

As for my WAS, I still need a card from Georgia on PSK-31 to get the award endorsed for that mode, and I would have the mixed-mode version by now, except that the one card I got from Massachusetts was corrected by the sender, and would be disqualified as a result.  Now that I have cards again, I can pursue the Bay State again and submit all the cards.

Anyone, like Jim Cassidy, KI7Y, who is also a member of the Willamette Valley DX Club, also holds the DX Century Club certificate, for having confirmed contacts with at least 100 countries.

If you have recently earned an operating award, we'd like to publicize the fact here in the sPARC gap.  For that matter, since we're a Special Service Club, might someone care to step forward and get accredited to check cards for awards?  Please advise.

Now, where'd that antenna go?  One of the vertical supports for Bert's 80-meter loop, which he painted in camouflage colors.
