Red Cross Shelter Exercise

Now is your chance to find out. Come and participate in a joint exercise between the American Red Cross, Oregon Trail Chapter and the Southern  Baptist Disaster Relief Team. The American Red Cross will be opening a shelter at the Greater Gresham Baptist Church,  Building A. The Southern Baptists will be cooking lunch for all in attendance.  Come and participate as a shelter client or just come and have a look around.  Lunch is provided free of charge to all participants.

"Amateur Radio Newsline" Returns to 146.84


he professionally pro-duced news program "Amateur Radio News-line" has returned to the PARC 146.84 MHz repeater. Thanks to Frank, KA7CGG, and other volunteer operators, "News-line" will air as before on Monday evenings following PARC Net, which convenes at 7 p.m.

"Newsline" will begin between the end of the net and 8p.m., depend-ing on net duration and post-net activity. All stations are invited to listen in. Additional originating source stations are needed to assist KA7CGG on a rotating basis. Operators interested in help-ing with "Newsline" may contact PARC at
