  1. January's general meeting was held on the 19th. Future 2001 topics were suggested: ARRL, Ten-Ten Presentation, NW VHF-UHF, Contesting, PSK-31 Demonstration, ATV, MARS, FISTS, Electronic Fundamentals, Radio Test Night, Summer picnic

  1. PARC net NCS - Ken dropped as a PARC net NCS, Tony is going to fill his spot.

  1. Sea Pac & Rikreal
    Rikreal - we have rented 2 tables for February Swapfest.
    Sea-Pac - we are thinking we should have 2 tables at Sea-Pac also.

  1. Portland Bicentennial Celebration.
    This presents a unique opportunity to showcase Ham radio to the whole community. Pat is spearheading this project, in conjunction with the Portland Amateur Radio Club of Portland England.

  1. A suggestion was made by Neal to have VE testing in conjunction with the regular general meeting. It was decided to try this, however an appointment (Contact Neal N7RX) will be mandatory.

  1. Membership renewals - please contact Darrell KC7AOI with any questions.

  1. Lee issued a check for $90.00 for the club trailer re-license fee.

  1. Ken read minutes from November business meeting re: 2001 budget. The final budget items were itemized as:

$150.00 for 160M Contest
$1100.00 for SparcGap
$325.00 for Insurance
$90.00 for Club trailer license fees
$100.00 for Larch Mountain repeater site rent

$200.00 for Ham fest's (Sea-Pac, Rikreal )
It was moved, seconded and passed to submit this budget to general club vote.
